As long as you have faith and believe in God, whatever choice you make for yourself and for your loved ones, with his guidance, everything will fall into place. This has been a very delightful article to end the day.

That was beautiful!! I think of Lisa often, how unfortunate that her life was taken so early in life. Not for any of us to question.I have so many memories with her, especially when we took the train to canada!

It sounded like the emphasis you were making was, "Wow, and a charedi no less! I would have been surprised had anyone gone out of their way like that, but a charedi??? Woah...."
I'm glad if that's not how you meant it. I guess I have my back up about sweeping comments about charedim, given recent events.

Thank you for your comments Loren. But I disagree. The 'chiddush' (or simply the subject - not necessarily so unique) was that a person - any person - would go so out of his way to do that for a stranger. The bonus was how it crossed sectors of society. I would not have expected it any more or less from anyone - male, female, religious or not.

Laura, it's a nice story. But it's sad that this is what it's come to - that it's actually a chiddush that a charedi would return a lost article. Recent events in my city have cast ALL charedim in a terrible light, even though the overwhelming majority are not the intolerant ones we've been reading about. So the fact that this act of kindness from a charedi person actually surprises you (enough that you found it worth writing about) is what's disappointing to me.

It's sad that there are a few who judge people by what they wear even if they don't know the person. I admire you for giving your family a choice between what's comfortable and what other people would say just to be accepted. Just continue your devotion and never mind what other people thinks. :)
